  • Property Management Case Study - Exploiting Management Skills
  • Originally built in the 1970’s to accommodate fast residential growth, the project steadily grew to over 70,000 sf of leasable area. LINKS was employed to assume the management duties due to the retirement of the managing partners.

LINKS has changed the dynamic of the management philosophy by instituting fundamental modern improvements and systems. Upon examination of the rent roll and learning of the owner’s expectations re market rents, it was quickly determined that the ownership group was not fully realizing its income potential. The merchandising mix was also problematic in providing safe, reliable and uninterrupted cash flow. In 2009 LINKS convinced the ownership that it was time to renovate the plaza to modern standards to make the centre more competitive.

  • LINKS was able to achieve an extraordinary 25% increase to scheduled rental income due to its knowledge of the marketplace and ultimately, the owners were rewarded with an outstanding jump in property value.
